It’s useful enough that we’ve spent thousands of dollars buying computers and keeping them updated, but a computer is still just a tool; it’s not magic, and it doesn’t know everything. Our technician’s knowledge, experience, and judgement is what makes the service at ToyoMasters second to none.

  • HELP WITH DEAD BATTERY?

    Yes, we help with those all the time. Being stranded with a dead battery can certainly be a big inconvenience, and downright scary in the Texas summer months. And while you may be right in thinking it’s just the battery, sometimes there may be other causes as to why your car won’t start. At ToyoMasters, we will test your battery for charge and inspect the starting and charging system to pinpoint the issue.

  • WHAT IF I DON’T DRIVE A TOYOTA?

    Although we specialize in the diagnosis, service & repair of Toyota, Lexus & other Asian Imports – we are experienced, certified auto repair professionals and provide high quality service on other makes/models.

  • DO I NEED TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT?

    Please, but not necessary. You are welcome to stop by anytime during business hours, but keep in mind we will be able to offer you a higher level of service if you let us know in advance what your needs are, and when you would like to bring your vehicle to ToyoMasters. This is how we best ensure our customers get our full attention on busy days. If you have any type of emergency, please do not hesitate to bring your vehicle to our auto repair shop right away if it is able to be driven safely. If you are unsure, we can refer you to a great, local towing service who will expertly deliver your vehicle.

  • WHAT CAN I DO IF I HAVE AN URGENT PROBLEM AND THE SHOP IS CLOSED?

    We have dedicated texting only line available for our customers. Please text with you full name, vehicle make/model year & your issue – and someone will get back to you as quickly as possible.   • DO YOU PROVIDE FREE ESTIMATES?

    Yes, of course! On independent maintenance services, we are happy to provide a free estimate. Regarding diagnosis & auto repairs, it depends. Sometimes we can simply step out into the parking lot with you and informally look at your car and tell you accurately what the problem is. In that case we are happy to have provided you with a quickie diagnosis at no charge and without you being obligated to follow through with having us repair your vehicle.

    Sometimes a short test drive is needed, and if time allows, we are happy to do that at no charge. However, most times the diagnosis requires more than a cursory look. When technicians spend time, use special tools and equipment, and call upon his knowledge and judgement gained through years of experience, then yes, we must charge for diagnosis. Once we see your vehicle, we create and provide to you a comprehensive estimate, allowing you to make the decision on what repairs to authorize. We will get your approval before any work begins.

    Don’t be fooled by other shops estimating repairs over the phone. 99% of the time it simply isn’t possible to give an accurate repair estimate without seeing the vehicle and diagnosis by a trained auto technician. We have had many vehicles with very high repair estimates come here only to find it was something small. We have also had other estimates for a small job miss something big.   • WHAT ARE YOUR WARRANTIES FOR INDEPENDENT SERVICE AND PARTS?

    ToyoMasters offers the highest quality replacement parts from OEM suppliers and offer a 1- year/12,000-mile part and labor warranty. If that part fails during that period, you pay nothing, and we cover the parts and labor. Additionally, our Services protect & validate your factory warranty. Contact us for more information regarding our warranty on performance and or used parts.

  • CAN I PROVIDE MY OWN PARTS?

    In special circumstances, we install parts provided by the customer. It is important to note there will be no warranty associated with those customer sourced parts.

  • DO YOU PERFORM SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE FOR TOYOTA, LEXUS AND SCION AUTOMOBILES?

    We can perform all regular and preventative maintenance for your vehicle. Regularly scheduled maintenance must be completed to maintain your warranty, but you do not have to go to the dealership for this service. Our invoice is proof-of-service in case of any warranty claim.

  • A WARNING LIGHT CAME ON, WHAT SHOULD I DO?

    That depends. What else is happening & what are you hearing? Refer to your owner’s manual. But in general, you should safely pull your car, turn it off, and contact ToyoMasters for help. Having it towed is always a safe bet, but not always cost effective.

  • WHAT IF I DON’T KNOW IF MY TIMING BELT HAS BEEN CHANGED?

    Two-thirds of all vehicles are fitted with an engine timing belt that requires replacement between 60,000 and 100,000 miles. On many of these vehicles, a timing belt breakage can result in thousands of dollars in engine damage. If you’re unsure if this service has been done on your vehicle, we can inspect your vehicle and determine if it is due for replacement.
